Are you not tired of the darkness? Are you not weary of living in fear? Would you dare hope to go to sleep and wake up in perfect peace ?
Jesus - the Sunrise from on high has come and the people who walked in great darkness have seen a great light - THE LIGHT!
From Luke chapter 1
Because of the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, To shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.
Zechariah speaking about his son John and the coming Messiah.
“And you, child, also will be called the prophet of the Most High;
For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways;
To give His people the knowledge of salvation
By the forgiveness of their sins,
Because of the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us,
