This is my big, wonderful, beautiful family who all inspire me in their own unique way. Since this picture, we've added three more sweet grandchildren. We have a blended family of two sons and two daughters with a combination TODAY of nine grandchildren.
Our oldest daughter, not pictured here, passed away in 2017. We still miss her dreadfully, but are thankful that she is dancing in the arms of Jesus and not bound by the disabled body that she had while she was here.
My husband is my gravity. He keeps me grounded - never holding me back. Seriously keeps me from falling off the planet on occasion.
He is wise and funny and plays every instrument. He is a music producer and owns a recording studio where he helps others reach their musical dreams and potential.
He leads our home in such a gentle and Godly manner. He serves as a deacon at our local church. He is also one of the few people I have ever met who really listens. He is truly a gift.
We have been married for 20 years and live in a small town just north of Atlanta.
Truly all of the inspiration for the books and songs I write come from God but He also put some very special people in my life. This is a video highlighting some of the struggles that our daughter went through after an auto accident when she was 16. The grace that God provided over the next 25 years of caregiving is beyond description. I hope that you will be encouraged. No life is ever wasted in the hands of Jesus!
